I have a small round gray spot on inside of my cheek about 3 cm in diameter. It doesn't hurt its not raised or rough it feels like the rest of the tissue. It's been there a year and hasn't changed in size or shape or color. I saw an oral surgeon he said it was nothing but I want to know what it could be and if it could be cancer.

  • If the grey spot inside your cheek is not increasing in size and is symptom free like there is no pain, no irritation and is not rough then you donot have to worry but keep observing it. If it starts increasing in size or starts bothering you then you have to see your dentist. You have not written anything about your oral habbits like smoking, chewing tobbacco etc, so it is difficult to comment but these habbits do aggavate the situation.
