I just recently got my wisdom teeth out and the dentist told me I had overcrowding of my lower teeth and now im having pain in left side madibular lateral incisor and its feeling a bit loose. Is it normal for 21 year old to loose a tooth like that and how will the dentist replace the gap if the tooth fell out?

  • It is not normal to loose a lateral incisor at age  of 21 years. Sometimes due to infection, pain is there and you feel that tooth has become loose but if treatment is done and infection is removed then the tooth becomes firm. So go to dentist and find out cause of pain and mobility and get the treatment done. The treatment depends on whether pain is due to gum problem or root infection. If it is due to root infection then may be you will need root canal treatment but if it is due to gum problem then SCRP or other gum tx will be needed. for more info on gum diseases you can check this article... http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-gum-diseases-9.aspx
