I needed 2 extractions but couldn't get them because of a blood pressure reading of 168/90. I'm in severe pain and wanted to know if I should find a dentist that is willing to do the extractions? I am not on any medications nor am I being treated for high blood pressure as of yet. Please advise me on what to do.

The main reason why dentists hesitate in performing extraction during high blood pressure is difficult to manage post operative bleeding.

The diastolic blood pressure plays a major role and since your diastolic BP is below 100 mm Hg so , i dont think there would be much complications but still it will be risky and due to this reason only doctors are hesitating. You need to bring down you Blood Pressure. The best way to lower your blood pressure in having water melon extracts (being rich in citrulline and arginine).
