when my 3 year old granddaughter objects brushing her teeth my daughter will lay her on the floor pins her arms under her legs and forcibly brushes the babies teeth while she is screaming.(the baby)her dentist suggested she do it this way when baby was an infant. is this the right way to brush a difficult childs teeth?

  • This is not the right way of brushing. With this way your child will develop a phobia for brushing and she might not brush on her own. I would suggest you to let her on her own. There are specially designed flexible tooth brushes available in the market that make brushing fun. So, make bruhing a source of entertainment that your child enjoys. This way neither she will fear of tooth brushing and nor her teeth will grow carious.
