my 7 year old lost his two front teeth in the beginning of December and now its almost the end of may and they haven't come in and I see no visible teeth cutting through the gums either now his gums are swollen im so scared and when the new teeth come in are they gonna be messed up

  • Normal eruption time for adult front teeth is around 7-8 years but it can be delayed depending on child to child. So if the gums are swollen in that area then that means the teeth are about to erupt. But if you are very apprehensive then you can take your child to pedodontist i.e. child dental specialist, who will take an xray and will tell you the eruption time.
