I have a partial denture (2 teeth, 1 top and one bottom) I don't wear them much since food particles lodge underneath them. If I don't wear them, should I worry about my teeth moving and ending up with spaces in between them? I am 62 yrs old. Thank you.

  • You have to wear the partial denture and if you are not able to wear it then you can go for other options like fixed partial dentures / bridges or dental implants. If you donot wear the partials then the adajent teeth will move into the space or they will supra erupt which can make them mobile and you may finally lose them. So either start wearing the partials or discuss the options with your dentist. For more info you can check this article on dentures.... http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-dentures-50.aspx
