One of my baby teeth fell out (as it should) but the adult tooth hasn't sprout for a few years now. I can feel the canine tooth through my gums but it isn't sprouting. It just seems like a nub. Also, I have this tooth exactly next to it where it is turned left and one side is long and the other isn't as if the bottom is diagonal yet round. What should I do for these two problems?

  • You have to go to dentist and get xrays done to find out whether adult tooth is present or not. Sometimes adult tooth is present but due to lack of space it does not erupt in oral cavity and sometimes even though space is there but due to some reason like infection or trauma, the path of eruption deviates and tooth becomes impacted. The dentist will assess the situation and do the treatment accordingly. for more info on dentition you can check this article... http://www.identalhub.com/dental-tooth-development-and-eruption-933.aspx
