My bottom left wisdom tooth is coming out and my gums are swollen and I see part of the tooth came out already .. its just this time I feel like the left side of my through is swollen because I cant eat or drink anything... and I can barely open and close my mouth not to mention cant really stick out my tongue. Is this tooth infected? Or is it just normal pain for a wisdom tooth coming out?

  • Some times when the space is less and the wisdom tooth is impacted then this problem is there. It is not the tooth infection but it is the gum above the tooth which is infected. it is called pericoronitis. For this you have to visit the dentist and get the X-ray done. If the space is less then you have to get it pulled out. For more info on wisdom tooth you can visit the following link....http://www.identalhub.com/dental-what-is-pericoronitis-909.aspx
