  • Whether it can be saved or not can be decided only after taking the xrays and clinical examination. It depends on type and extent of crack. If the tooth is cracked in half and roots are also involved then it is difficult to save the tooth and in that case tooth has to be pulled out and afterwards replaced by crown but only if crown part of tooth is fractured then it can be saved by root canal treatment followed by post and core and crown. So you have to schedule an appointment with your dentist and get the xray done to get the treament plan. for more info on cracked tooth you can check this link in our website.... http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-cracked-tooth-56.aspx
