What would cause a sharp pain in a new filling

  • There can  be many  causes for that. It can be due to high filling or sometimes if the filling is very  deep and it is directly done on exposed nerves and sometimes as dentine is sensitive and there are nerve ending in it and due to this sharp pain can be there for initial 2-3 days.
