My top left crown has been causing severe pain I have take 6 aleve pills and I feel like they are not working at all my tooth still hurts so bad I have cried a few times because of appointment is scheduled on Thursday but I can't wait that long ! I can't eat or drink anything because it hurts so bad.

  • It looks like that your tooth is infected. It happens either due to some gingival problem or if there is some seepage under the crown which causes the infection. As you have crown, the tooth must have been root canal treated before. So you have to get the crowned removed and get the reroot canal treatment of tooth done. However this will be finalized by dentist after taking xray. If reroot canal treatment is not possible then you have to get the tooth pulled out and go for dental implant. for more info on dental crowns you can chekc this link in our website....
