I had fillings done 2weeks ago and I've been in extreme pain ever since, i went back to the dentist and she told me that she put the filling in to close to my nerve. I ended up having to get the fillings removed and allowing her to put temporary fillings in that have medicine in them, and i was told to come back in 2 weeks for the permenent fillings again. Im still.in so much.pain. What should i do?

  • Pain after filling, as the doctor said, is due to deep seating of the material, close to the nerve. It will take some time for the tooth to show remineralization. So, i would recommend you to wait for  some time. If the pain subsides then only permanent filling can be done else you have to consult your dentist again for RCT. To get relieved from the pain you can try the home remedies as given in the link....http://www.identalhub.com/article_home-remedies-for-dental-problems-88.aspx
