I used clove oil for over two weeks for dental pain. Then I had to loose 4 teeth due to abcesses. That side of my face became numb when I began using the clove oil, which was being given to me in a hospital. The numbness has continued for 7 months. Could I have nerve damage from Clove oil? Have you heard of this happening before? Thanks

  • I have never heard or seen in my carrer about numbness caused by clove oil. It can be because of the abcessed teeth or the extraction . Numbness is caused by nerve damage which can be there because of So visit your dentist and discuss with him the cause.
