  • It can not be the tooth ulcer but the abcess which has formed and it is due to the  infection in the tooth. The infection can be either because of decay or te gum disease.  First yoiu have to find out the cause of this and then the treatment has to be done. The antibiotis alone can not treat the infection. The root cause has to be removed. If it is the gum infection then gium treatment has to be done and if the decay is the cause then root canal treatment has to be done and if you do not want to save the tooth then yes, The tooth can be pulled out under antibiotic coverage.
