i feel a sharp pain in a particular tooth when i take cold water and no pain at all when i chew with it

  • It means that you are having reversible pulpitis in which pain is there when you take some thing cold but it goes as soon as the stimulus is removed. This can be because of decay or because of wearing of the teeth. It is difficult to give the diagnosis with out clinical examination. So visit your dentist and get the diagnosis made.If there is a decay then get the restoration done.
