I Had Oral Surgery & The Stitches Are Coming Out, The Surgery Has Been A Week Now. I Am Concerned As There Is A Small Gap On My Lower Gum & I Wonder If This Will Close Together By Itself? There Is No Sign Of Infection & All Looks Great Except The Space In The Gum.

  • Normally after surgery the stitches are removed after a week. In your case the surgery was done 1week before . There is nothing to worry about if there is no infection . The gap will fill itsself it will take another week or two to fill the gap. Just keep the area clean. there should be no food impaction as that can cause the infection. Do warm saline rinses 2 to 3 times a day. To know more about sutures and stitches after the surgery you can visit the following link on our website..
