I am planning to get full dentures. Aspen dental will be doing the work. What can I expect regarding the procedure, pain issues, healing, et/c?

  • Full mouth extraction for complete denture is not very painfull and with minimal complications if all the precautions are taken and all the instructions are followed. Mostly the teeth which are recommended for extraction are either loose or compromised and they less time to come out with minimal bone cutting. However infection part has to be taken care of by you and dentist. After full mouth extraction normally depending on case to case the healing may take from 6 weeks to 3 months and after that you can go for dentures.
