This tooth is my back left upper tooth. This tooth became chipped on the inner side where the tongue. The chip is right on the gum line, and a bit concave by the edge of the tooth and somewhat between the tooth. It might have been where a previous cavity was but cam loose. A dentist has filled this type of filling before because of the tooth bonding materials they have.

  • Yes, it is possible to do the filling in such type of cavities as we have tooth colored bonding material ie composite which chemically bonds to the tooth even if the previous filling is broken, it can be repaired without cutting much of the tooth material.
