I was wondering if an abscessed tooth could cause me to go into atrial fibrillation. I'm 25 years old and I was put in the hospital for atrial fibrillation and the doctors didn't really see a reason why it happened

  • Yes there are chances of atrial fibrillation (i.e. atrial contracting at an exceedingly higher  and irregualar rate) due to dental abscess. So, its better that you get the treatment of abscess at an early stage to prevent the fatal outcomes like atrial fibrillation and other diseases of pleural cavity.
