Our 40 yr old son bit into a large shrimp using to second to the last molar on the upper left side of his mouth..it stuck in his mouth...he pulled it out along with half of his molar....hia gum behind the tooth is swollen and he his in very uncomfortable pain...SOS SOS SOS

  • If the molar is fractured then you have to schedule an appointment with dentist who will take the xrays and find out whether the tooth is restorable or not. If the tooth is restorable then may be you will need root canal treatment with post and core and crown on top of that. But if the tooth is not restorable then you have to get the tooth pulled out and you can go for implant aor bridge in place of that.
