Pain and discomfort for 4-5days after crown is normal. If it is there even after 4-5 days, then you need to consult your dentist. It could be because of some high point on the cap which can later be grinded by the dentist. Keep the gum area around the capping clean. don't allow any food deposits in that area. Maintain a good oral hygiene by brushing and flossing regularly. You can use an interdental brush in the area of capping.
