Hi, i am 18 years old. Around 24hrs ago i noticed a lump under my tongue on the left side. It is not in pain, i am just able to tell it is there due to a size increase i suppose. I have researched quiet a bit on just "lump under tongue" and am honestly scared. Minor or major it seems could be the reason but no solid suggestions on what it may be. The spot seems to be near the saliva glad and swollen, also there is what seems to be a small outter bump, looks like a pimple. Please any info or suggestions. Thanks for your time.

  • The lump under the tongue can be due to some salivary gland obstruction or it can be because of  some infection in the tooth as you also have an outer bump which is like a pimple. With out clinical examination it is difficult to comment on this so you have to go to the dentist to get the proper diagnosis made.
