My very back right upper molar was capped several years ago but part of the side has broken off. My dentist suggested another cap. Money is tight. The tooth next to it drops downs slightly. I don't think I use this tooth to eat nor do I think it would affect my occlusion if I were to have it pulled as opposed to having another expensive cap. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.

  • If the tooth you are taking about is the last tooth that is the wisdom tooth then you can get it pulled out as this tooth does not help in chewing and does not have any imporance but if it is not the wisdom tooth then it isalways better to save the natural tooth at any cost.
