Couple of months ago I had 2 crowns in my left upper jaw. a week ago I noticed a painful lump on my gum. What could it be?

  • the painful lump on the gums can either be because of the gum problem in that area or it is because of the infection in the tooth. If the tooth is also painful then it is because of the infection in the tooth and for that after making the correct diagnosis the root canal treatment is done but if root canal is already done then reroot canal treatment is recommended. But if the gums are infected which is mainly because of the gap between the crown and the gums then that area is cleaned.
