I have an upper tooth that is loose. I don't believe anything is wrong with it. Is they any way it can be cemented so it is no longer loose. If not what would be the course of action

  • http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-gum-surgeries-80.aspxWhether the loose tooth can be saved or not depends upon the cause and the amount of mobility. If the tooth is loose because of trauma then by splinting it can be saved. If it is because of infection due to decay then doing root canal treatment treats it. If it is because of gum disease then it depends upon the amount of bone loss. .If the bone loss is not much and the dentist thinks that the tooth can be saved then gum surgery aand bone grafting can save it. So visit your dentist who will do the clinical exaination and take the X-ray's to find out the cause of mobility and accordingly treatment will be planned. If the tooth can not be saved then it has to be pulled out and if possible implant is done. For more info on gum surgeries you can visit the following link on our website...
