I am going to need a crown on a front tooth, so I had my teeth professionally whitened in order to ensure that the crown would match my teeth at their whitest. Now I have come to understand that I will never be able to whiten again because it will damage the crown! Is this true? Will I even be able to use a whitening toothpaste or mouthwash? Thank you very much!

  • No it is not like that. You can always get the professional whitening done from dentist. As far whitening toothpaste or mouthwash, you can always use it as crowns are of ceramic material and they are inert and are not affected by chemicals but this is tru that whatever shade of crown is now, it won't change. for more info on crowns you can check this article in our website.... http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-dental-crowns-72.aspx
