I have an upper molar sensitive to cold. A dentist said I have bone loss and also the tooth was refilled. The dentist said if this tooth continues to bother me then to have the tooth taken out. Should I have an extraction done or do I have other options? Thanks

  • It is difficult to give you any treatment advice without clinical exam and xrays. if the bone loss is severe with mobility of tooth then sometimes it is difficult to save the tooth but if sensitivity is because of decay or refilling then the tooth can be saved by doing the root canal treatment. So you have to take your call accordingly. for more info on Root Canal Treatment you can check this link in our website....  http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-root-canal-therapy-17.aspx
