I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed 2 weeks ago, it was a clean extraction and all four teeth came out in one piece, is it okay for me to smoke now?

  • 2 weeks is enough period to wait for smoking after tooth extraction. Normally 48 hours after tooth extraction are advised to patient for not to smoke. Basically the smoking is contra indicated because there are chances of clot dislodgment which can lead to dry socket. After 2 weeks the complete healing of extraction socket should be there. for more info on problems after tooth extraction, you can check this link in our website...  http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-tooth-extraction-27.aspx
