I have a tooth that is in really bad shape. the nerve was extracted and it was supposed to filled, but i had no money and it remained so and agravated in time. Now i have a small round swelling on the gum really HIGH above this tooth. I don't have money to consult a dentist. Could you please help me out? Should i take antibiotics? I have Augmentin 500 in my house, would it work? How often should i take it if so? I also might have gingivitis.

  • If you have swelling above the tooth then that means the tooth is really infected. So either get it pulled out or get the treatment done if possible. Donot take any antibiotics without prescription. Maintain good oral hygiene and donot eat from that side. Do warm saline rinses 2-3 times a day. If you donot have money then you can try some dental school and get the treatment done. for more info on tooth abscess you can read this link in our website... http://www.identalhub.com/dental-causes-symptoms-and-treatment-of-gum-abscess-900.aspx
