Hi, just want to quickly describe my situation. The wisdom tooth at the bottom right of my jaw is pushing the molar inward. The wisdom tooth is not growing upwards but pointing at the mentioned molar. The whole lower jaw is supposedly U-shaped but the right side is bending inwards. Hope you can understand how its looking like and advise if it should be removed. It is not causing any pain however.

  • If the angulation of the wisdom tooth is not correct and it is pushing the 2nd molar then it should be extracted even if it is not posing any problem. Wisdom tooth does not help in mastication of food but 2nd molar is an important tooth. Extraction of wisdom tooth is indicated when either space is not enough or angulation is not correct and in your case as may be due to lack of space, it is angulated inwards and due to this extraction of tooth is needed.
