hi, i have some problems. i am a teenager but i have very small and sharp teeth growing with my top set of teeth.. they are like sharp extra teeth growing. i use to suck my thumb until i was 12 years old and now i am 14. and i am considering doing braces. can my small adult teeth hold the braces. and is there anyway to make my small adult teeth grow to the normal size. Anyway some of my baby teeth are not pulled out and my back tooth is only half coming out. So will all this problems in my mouth can i still put on braces?

  • Yes braces can increase the length of your teeth to some extent if you were thumb sucker as because of thumb sucking the teeth tend to come out and they look small but when they go in they start looking bigger. But if the problem is not solved with braces then lateron the length of the crowns of the teeth can be incrased by cosmetic gum surgery.
