I was having a shooting pain up the tooth, felt/heard like the tooth was cracking so I had the dentist redo a filling for me. The filing went through okay, but I am still experiencing the cold and sweet sensitivity. It really just feels like the cold/sweet is shooting all the way up into the tooth and then I hear a "crack" in the tooth. It's not a constant pain.

  • After getting the filling done for 2-3 days if you have sensation, it is normal but if it persists after that then may be your tooth is infected or the cavity is very deep. Then you have to visit the dentist and you may need Root Canal Treatment.
