I need to have a tooth extracted. I have been to a dentist and an oral surgeon and I cannot afford the surgery for a couple more weeks. In the meantime I am in excrutiating pain keeping me from sleep and work. These two doctors will not help with the pain until after surgery. What can I do? I thought Doctors were supposed to help. When they won't who can I turn to?

  • The pain is because of infection and for that you have to take medicine from dentist or you can take otc pain killer tabs. Along with this you can try home remedies like putting clove or clove oil, avoid eating from that side. Basically Antibiotics along with pain killer tab will give you pain relief and for that you have to visit the dentist. If you have dental insurance then I think it should not be a problem as tooth extractions are covered in this and you have to pay copay amount only.
