Hi, I'm just wondering what are some causes of bad breath are. My breath does not have the most pleasant smell. Every time I talk the smell comes out. The bad breath is at its worst in the morning. Also there is this white sticky thing on my tongue at the back. I'm not sure if that is what is causing it. I have tried using a tongue cleaner (it is on the back of my toothbrush) but it barely gets off. Its pretty much always there so I need to use my fingernail to scrape it off. Is there such thing as a tongue scraper or something? If so where can I buy it? Could you give me some names of shops and their suburbs? Also how are you supposed to floss the your very back teeth? That job for me is pretty much impossible. I can barely even reach the back. Could you send me a video showing me how to floss all my teeth or can you explain to me how to do it? Thanks Yours Sincerely, David.

  • There are many causes of bad breath but the main causes are poor oral hyg and deposits on the tongue. You have to maintain good oral hyg by doing brushing atleast twice a day in which night brushing is very important along with flossing and regular tongue cleaning. Tongue scrappers are available at every grocessy store, drug stores. They are simply tongue cleaners. If you have deposits on the tonuge then that can be cause of your bad breath and for that you have to use tonuge cleaner or you can clean the tonuge with brush or floss. Flossing the back teeth is also very important as maximum food impaction is in the back teeth. Along with all this you can use some antimicorbial mouthwash at night.
