Sir, I have natural gaps in my teeths since childhood. I have visited dentists many times but all have said that braces could solve the problem but temprorly and since my upper jaw is broader than my lower jaw, gaps will re-appear with time after braces are removed. Because of this Iam quiet apprehensive for getting my teeths treated. Is their any solution for my teeths which could permanently rectify this problem and if yes, how much it will cost in total ? in addition my age is 22 so will it somehow effect the treatment ?

  • If the orthodontist says that the gaps will relapse then you can discuss the other options with your general dentist. These are called cosmetic treatments. In this the cheapest is to get the teeth built with composite so that the gaps are reduced or you can opt for veneers or crowns. These all treatments are used to give the good smile. depending upon the amount of gaps and your teeth the dentist will advice you for the treatment. here the cost of crown is like $750per crown, the veneers will cost you around $300 to 400 per tooth and composite built up will cost you around $20 per tooth. But in India definitely the cost will be much less. you can check out with your dentist. if you want to know about the dfferent options for your teeth then you can visit the following link on our website......http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-smile-makeover-29.aspx
