My daughter is 17 months old, I noticed yesterday what looks like tartar build-up on her bottom two front teeth (inside). It looks whitish, near the gumline and off to the side next to the next tooth. I have been brushing her teeth off and on for the last 6 months. I'm not sure what to do, we don't have dental insurance.

  • Your daughter is 17 months old and it is very unlikely to have tartar buildup at such a young age. Normally there is milk pooling in the area which causes the deposition in the backside of the lower teeth and for this you just have to brush your daughter's teeth regularly and properly and it will go.
