I have not been to a dentist in 8 years. I do have fillings and a root canal wtih a crown. I have been having pain off and on so I went to see a dentist. He took x-rays and says he saw no cavities or root problems. He told me to wear a nightguard. Is it possiblel to go 8 years and not have any new cavities or dental root problems?
