Hi, First I have to say Im a scaredy cat for dentists. Very much so. I had a cavity that turned into a broken tooth. Dentist told me to get it pulled ASAP. That was about 2 months ago when it was also infected and he gave me antibiotics. Today I bit on something and the tooth broke down inside the gum, it is quite lose but I can feel a bit of a sharp pain. I am going to try and get this looked at as soon as I can b ut I am nervous that there is a chance of something b ad happening. It did not bleed. Please tell me I wont drop dead or somethinbg crazy like that. Thanks for your time..Kathleen (its on the top in the back)

  • there is no reason to get scared. just go to the dentist and get it extracted before it again gets infected. you have to get it pulled out other wise it will be a source of infection and more so ever you can not eat from this side till you get it extracted because of pain and the health of other teeth on that side will also be effected. it does not pain and you will not even come to know. The dentist will numb the area and pull it out. for more information on tooth extraction , the procedure and the precautions which you should take after wards you can visit the following link http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-tooth-extraction-27.aspx
