I have a removable 2 teeth bridge on my lower right The tooth that it attaches to is slightly loose ( believe it is a stage 1) Was told my mouth is in good health, no bone loss, periodontal disease, etc. been to several dentists & have been told that there is nothing that can be done...just wait until it falls out! I don't think so not if I can help it! I don't know where to go or what to do? Do you have any advice so I won't lose this tooth? I believe it may be due to the pressure from the bridge although I don't wear it all the time & the fit is rather loose. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated! By the way I am a 75 year old female in very good health, no meds, eat clean, exercise daily. Thanks!

  • it is difficult to comment on this with out seeing the case clinically. As  first of all we have to find out the cause of the mobility. Whether it is the root infection or the bone loss and on that the treatment depends. As this tooth is giving support to your bridge then most likely it is because of that. so get an X-ray done and try to find out the cause.
