I have had a filling Molar # 14 3 or 4 times. I went to the dentist today and they said i need a root canal & crown. I asked about getting it pulled and they said i would have to get a bridge & it cost more. Can't I get it pulled without having any other work done to it?

  • if you do not want to go for the root canal treatment then the only option left is to get it exracted but your dentist is right in saying that you have to go for the bridge or you have to get the implant. both the treatments will be much more expensive than getting the root canal treatment done. if you must get it pulled out and do not go for any replacemant then you are compromising the health of other teeth as, if one tooth is lost the adjacent teeth move in the space created by the pulling of the teeth and the spaces develop in between the teeth where the food impaction is the common problem. so in my opinion if tooth can be saved by root canal treatment then you should go for it. if you want to know in detail about the root canal treatment like the procedure then you can visit the following link on our website...................http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-root-canal-therapy-17.aspx
