My daughter has acomposite on the front tooth right on the very bottom where enamel apparently failed to form. Because it is about 1/8" in dia from the bottom up, the ped/dentist has repaired it at no cost. Is there anything else we can do for this spot that will last more than a week or more until the tooth falls out? It is expensive for us and frustrating for the dentist.

  • If composite filling is not staying, which is common with the baby teeth as isolation is the problem, you can get it repaired by GIC. Though it is not very aesthetic but it has good adhesion property and quite successful with the baby teeth. Because we are not concerned about strengh of the filling as the tooth has to stay just for few days.
