About 8 years ago I had a root canal procedure, less than a week later the tooth broke off at the gum line, next i went through a very painful tooth extraction followed by not one but two crowns to anchor the now necessary bridge. About two months ago i had to have another root canal on one of the teeth anchoring the bridge. yesterday while haveing Christmas Dinner my whole bridge/partial broke off. Question, how long should these last? The teeth in question are my two front teeth and the one to the right side of my mouth. secondly would implants be the best way to cure this problem?

  • Now you have one mssing tooth and one tooth which is root canal treated on the right side and other tooth on the left side of the missing tooth is reduced before to be used as the abutment. You have two options. If you want to go for implant then for the missing tooth implant will be done but on the adjacent teeth crowns have to be put or the other option is to go for the fixed bridge again. If you want to know about the implants and the crown and bridge you browse our website where enough information is available
