I have heard that the teeth whitening toothpastes carry abrasive which help them in removing stains from teeth. Wont they spoil the tooth enamel. I have also heard that teeth whitening strips have some chemical that might damage the tooth enamel. Can you advise which teeth whitening treatment is the best and safe

  • Yes tooth whitening toothpaste do have abrasives but it is very mild and if you donot over do the things they won't spoil the tooth enamel as the enamel is the hardest substance. At the same time whitening strips can damage the tooth enamel and can cause sensitive teeth. The best teeth whitening treatment is to get the whitening done from dentist, where the dentist do the whitening either in the office or make the trays which can be used at home.
