Hello there,, im a 21 year old female, i have had an accident several years ago and lost my 2 frontal teeth. I got my teeth all braced-up and i wanted to get tooth implants, but they told me that my bone became fragile after the accident. So i went and got a Porcelain bridge ( on 4 frontal teeth ). However, only 7 months after i got them, they broke ( along the midline ) while i was eating an apple ! My dentist denied the break, and told me that it wasnt possible ( althogh i can floss in between them now ! ). The bridge cost me 5000$, it did not look real, and my dentist has left the country and i cant contact him ! Right now, i can see one of them has shifted to the other side, making a small gap in the midline. One side is more forward than the other. My question is, can i get the braces back ( over the brige )? because im not happy with the way my teeth look right now. Do porcelain bridges get whiter if i get teeth whitning ? And lastly, can my bridge be fixed? or should i get another one? Thank you,, Sara

  • If you think that the bridge is broken from midline then you first have to show it to some dentist. It is quite unlikely but not impossible. The whole treatment plan will depend upon that. If it is fractured then you have to get it replaced . Get it done from some experienced dentist. The proper fitted and made bridge will improve the esthetic and if you want braces just because of your front teeth then that can be adjusted with the alignment of the bridge. So firstand foremost is to go to the dentist and get it checked. if you want to know more about the crown and bridge you can visit the following link on our website.......http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-crowns-bridges-22.aspx
