my granddaughter is 12 months old and does not have any teeth at all. should we be concerned?

  • Normaly the first baby tooth erupts at the age of 6 to 7 months but some children have delayed eruptis  and the first baby tooth erupts even at 12  or 13 months of age. So you should not be worried. If you are very much concerned then you can get the X-ray done to see the position of the teeth. But my advice is to wait for another 2 to 3 months .
