Hello. I am writing this email out of desperation. I made the terrible mistake of not seeing a dentist in several years. I thought I was taking OK care of my teeth, apparently not. I am in EXTREME pain, but I cannot afford to have these 4 teeth removed. I haven't eaten much since it all started to hurt 3 days ago. I went to the E.R. the other night, and the doctor did nothing but look at my teeth (I know, he's not a dentist), and sent me home with 10 Tylenol 3. These did not help even a little. I have been up for what feels like forever. What is worse is, I am without work currently, and was denied workers compensation for reason I do not understand. I will most like not get a reply to this, but I had to try. Again, I cannot take this pain any longer. I have been taking 3 Excedrin every couple hours to help with the pain. I know that is way too much and bad for my liver... but again, the pain is unbearable. I have been , painfully, searching the internet for answers. I do not know what to do. All I want to do is not be in such pain.

  • If you are in acute pain then that means your teeth are infected. In infection only pain killers are not going to help you. You have to go to the dentist and if you can not afford the private dentist then you can go to some dental school and get the treatment. Till then you can try some home remedies like doing warm saline rinses and using clove which is really effective in dental pain. If you want to know in detail about the home remedies for dental pain and the dental pain in general then you can browse our web site where ample artices on dentistry are there.
