Hi I am a 20 yrs old and i had my braces removed today after exaactly 18 months. i love my new smile although one of my top teeth feel like they still need to be pushed further back , i guess because i worked so hard to pay for my braces and now that they are finally of its really frustrating me that one tooth is not perfect. the left side is perfect which im very happy with. i originally had a crossbite and my front teeth were also moving foward. my orthodontisit has put fixed rettainers on both my top and bottom teeth , i am going back next week to have my removable retainers put in.will the retainers push the tooth that is bothering me back , or will i have to get braces again.

  • If the discrepency is very slight then the removable retainers can take care of that. You can discuss with your orthodontist about your concerns and if possible he will activate the retainer and that will take care of your front tooth. So do not get worried. for more information on retainers after braces you can visit the following link on our web site......http://www.identalhub.com/articlecategory-retainers-after-braces-54.aspx
