I'm heart operated as well as Blood Sugar Patient Age 50 years Female. When i start eating food i feel hard pain in my 7th teeth of 4th quadrant. And my heart beat starts increasing. As soon as i brush it up the pain stops totally. I'm facing this problem since a week therefore i went to a good dentist for check up. He said that due to cavity there's a small hole on back and below side of that teeth which is looking normal from other sides. He preferred me for root canal treatment only. As i'm sugar patient is this the only treatment which can cure or any other and better treatment is there?

  • If you have pain in the tooth then it means it is already infected. There are only two options and these are either you go for Root Canal Treatment or get it pulled out. As you are diabetic and otherwise also it is better to save the tooth than to get it pulled out. So in my opinion you should go for Root Canal Treatment. Root Canal Treatment is a normal procedure and there is no contra indication for heart patients or diabetic patients but you should get it done under prophylactic antibiotic converage.
